Chauncy celebrated further examination success on Thursday 25th August when three year groups collected GCSE, DIDA, OCR National and BTEC results. Headteacher Dennis O'Sullivan commented, "We have superb Year Nine results, marvellous Year Ten results and exceptional Year Eleven results. In Year Eleven our Gifted and Talented students performed brilliantly, our middle ability students have over achieved and our Special Educational Needs students did amazingly well."

In Year Eleven 99% of students achieved at least 1 A* - G grade, 96% of students achieved 5 A* - G grades, 84% of students achieved 5 A* - C grades and 60% achieved 5 A* - C grades including English and Maths. 29% of students achieved over 3 A* or A grades.

Chauncy celebrated another successful A Level Results Day with a student pass rate of 99.7%. 43% of students passed with A*, A and B grades, whilst 74% passed with A*, A, B and C grades. Our top ten performers achieved 33 A* and A grades between them!

Headteacher Dennis O’Sullivan commented “These are the best results the school has ever seen.”

Many of our Year 13 students will soon be packing for Universities across the country and others are starting full time jobs. We wish them every success in their studies or employment and look forward to seeing them at Presentation Evening in January.
